Welcome to my Humble Shop! I look forward to helping you!
Are you dismayed at the current state of tsukamaki options in the US?
Are you quite frankly, troubled that the wait times of some of these other wraps can be up to months/years long?
If you are like me, as a Japanese Sword Arts practitioner, we can not be without our blades for that long, nor are we all able to use a "spare" or buy another while we wait.
Hi, my name is Rob, from RE:Wrap Studio and much like you, I use my iaito/shinken almost daily to train. As you train, your sword will naturally wear down and be in need of maintenance. Like you, I was saddened by the limited options available to me. While there are many skilled craftsmen in the US, their wait times do not fit my needs so I decided to learn it myself.
Next thing you know, some of my sword friends took notice and asked me to do theirs as well which I did. Over time, I started to get people that they knew asking me to do their tsuka wraps. Eventually, they encouraged me to open up a website and to make my services available to new sword friends.
This website is my humble beginning where I showcase some of my work and to make my services available to all who are in need. I do not try to be everything to everyone, so for now, I specialize in tight wraps with a fast turnaround.
I currently only offer standard Hineri-maki in Cotton, Genuine Silk, and Synthetic Silk in limited options at an affordable price. This is offered with hishigami (Premium Tsukamaki) and without (Budget Tsukamaki).
Please, browse my Gallery and should you have any questions or would like to request a wrap, please use my Contact Me page. Thank you very much for your time and for visiting my site.
